CSz Boston - home of ComedySportz!
Owner, GM
Greater Boston Area
I've been doing improv comedy for 18+ years, performing the long-running and well-loved improv comedy show ComedySportz. If you've ever seen Who's Line is it Anyway or Wild n' Out, it's like that ! We're in 30 major cities, and have been around for 35 years. I currently own and manage CSz Boston, so I produce ComedySportz here. Originally, I'm from CSz San Jose and lived in San Francisco. My day-to-day is teaching improv to companies who want to build stronger, more connected and communicative teams. I also teach improv classes at our theater in Roslindale. The other parts of my day are coaching and leading our team of 31 professional improvisers - we perform ComedySportz every weekend, do educational improv workshops for schools and companies, and corporate entertainment events, so no day is ever the same. In addition to the day-to-day, our whole team is focused on finding and creating new opportunities to make improv AND our theater accessible, diverse, and inclusive. You should come and talk to me if you want to talk about: if/how/why improv seems scary, people science, what books you're reading, how you're building your business pipeline (always fun to find what people are trying out), gut health, nutrition, bouldering, weight lifting, any Sandra Bullock movie, leadership topics, you have a nonprofit that needs help fundraising. Really anything.
