After graduating from college, my male friends started finding board positions, while my female friends lagged behind, not realizing that they could make a difference in the boardroom even in their mid 20's. This workshop will introduce the responsibilities and perks of joining a non-profit board. We'll guide you through the board member vetting process, and give you insight on how to start looking for your first board positions. It's never too early or late to start making an impact in the boardroom. If you're passionate about non-profit work, and want to take it to the next level, a board seat may be perfect for you!
